Selling your car online

Selling a car can be a really tedious job especially if you are advertising privately in a classified or online, either way you will have to deal with phone calls or prospective buyers wanting to view the vehicle for inspection.

There are quite a few choices to select from wether it be a weekly publication or a website ad there are plenty of them around now and all wanting to take your money for their effort in the sale. Classifieds or auction sites all take part in telling you they can do the job better than one another. Normally you upload your car details and then the photos and then make payment, then wait for the call or bids to flood in, along with those calls you will get all the questions that prospective buyers want answering.

I think the worse part of this scenario is the viewings where buyers want check the car out before making a bid or offer, which is fair enough as nobody wants to buy an old wreck but it can be really annoying when you have people picking holes in your pride and joy. Then they want to chip you money for every little blemish even though the car is 8 years old.

Well I was never fond of this way of selling a car and never wanted to be waiting in for buyers to come and view so I had a look online to see if their was an easier way to sell my car, I came across quite a few websites offering me the best price for my car all I had to do was input my car registration and some contact details. Within a few minutes I receved an email with an offer and what to do if I wanted to proceed with the sale.

This was great as I had an instant offer and could have the car sold within a few hours, Only problem was the offer, it was far too low compared to what I wanted and was going to accept. I tried another website and got another offer but it was around the same as the first and this time I had to deliver the car. I did some more searching and came across www.sell-my-car-for.me that could get me more than the one offer, so I put my details in and waited for the email reply. After an hour or so I got 8 emails and 12 telephone calls with offers that exceeded what I had previously been sent.

I decided to sell to a buyer that was quite local to me and had cash ready for the sale. I could have accepted a higher price from another buyer but they couldnt collect the car for a few days and I was in need of the cash. This was a great alternative to selling my car privately and was totally free, I would use this way of selling again as it takes the stress out of advertising and dealing with buyers coming to your home. Remember this a great cash for cars option
